The Role

Legend is hiring a Digital PR Specialist, reporting directly to our Senior Digital PR Manager.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our rapidly expanding sports PR team. You'll have the chance to work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment where innovation and a love for sports are at the forefront.

As part of our team you’ll contribute to compelling campaigns that resonate with sports journalists, readers and fans worldwide. Your Impact

  • Write current and newsworthy content, campaigns, commentary, and interviews that will interest journalists and the North American media.

  • Build lists of contacts and develop relationships with journalists for successful outreach.
  • Report on the outcome of campaigns, considering the number of backlinks achieved and the quality. Use this information to drive the future ideation approach.

What You'll Bring

  • Sports knowledge, particularly American Sports. This is crucial as the vast majority of their work will be in the North American media space. American football knowledge is imperative
  • Established working contacts within the North American media space, ideally within the sports industry/sports publications
  • Experience ideating and delivering 360 Digital PR campaigns, focusing primarily on the North American media space.  A creative mindset with the ability to think outside of the box for fresh campaign ideas
  • A strong content writer who can craft a great story
  • A strong communicator who is confident in pitching to journalists, conducting interviews, and more
  • Strong organizational skills - Campaign management involves juggling many things at once.
  • A self-starter who can manage their own workload and is enthusiastic about what they do

The Interview Process

  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Interview with our team, Senior Digital PR Manager and Digital PR Specialist (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Take-home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and send it back for us to review.
  • 4th: Final interview (1 hour video via Zoom)
