The Role:
Legend is hiring for 4 x Content Editors, reporting directly to one of our Senior Content Editors. Bring your content writing and editing experience to create engaging content for our English-speaking markets, focusing on New Zealand to start. You’ll be able to supercharge your personal and professional growth by collaborating with some of the strongest experts in Content, SEO, and Product within the iGaming sphere.
In this role, we value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed. You'll need to be based in the country where the role is advertised.
Your Impact:
- Editing, Proofreading, Writing & Publishing: Write new and optimise existing content to make it engaging for our English-speaking audiences [focusing on New Zealand initially]
- SEO Optimised Content: Producing optimised content that engages our audiences and meets SEO best practices, using tools like Ahrefs, SemRush and SurferSEO to recommend ways we can optimise our content.
- Audience Engagement: Use your skills and keen eye to suggest new, innovative ways of engaging our iGaming audience and expanding our reach in the market.
- Self-Development: Work as part of a high-performing team and set personal development goals to continually grow your own skill set.
- Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams in the company, including Country Managers, Product, UX Design, and Engineering.
- Leadership: Managing external writers to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience as a Content Editor or Content Writer role for English speaking markets. Ideally within the Gaming Industry. Responsible for editing and optimising web content.
- Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor/validate content success.
- Managing external writers to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
- Be self-motivated, imaginative and confident in working on your own initiative and with autonomy.
- Team player mentality. We like to work with friendly people who thrive when working collaboratively.
- Improvement mindset. Constantly striving to learn, develop and grow – you embrace feedback.
The Interview Process:
- 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
- 2nd: Interview with our team, Senior Content Editor/ SEO Specialist and Content Manager (1 hour video via Zoom)
- 3rd: Take home task
- 4th: Final interview with our team, Content Manager and Senior Content Editor (1 hour video via Zoom)
