The Role:
This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up, becoming the first editor dedicated to our growing French-language casino content stream. You'll have the chance to shape editorial standards, collaborate across departments, and make an immediate impact on how we serve a French-speaking audience in a highly competitive market.
At Covers, you'll work alongside teams who live and breathe online casinos and sports betting, including SEO strategists, product managers, and editors who are passionate about delivering content that educates, entertains, and converts. You'll plug into a terrific infrastructure, benefit from shared knowledge across various verticals, and be empowered to make decisions that drive meaningful progress.
The role offers deep cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to work closely with stakeholders across SEO, commercial, design, and product teams. You’ll be joining a team that genuinely supports one another, values creative input, and celebrates shared wins.

Your Impact:
- Outsourcing, editing, and publishing commercial iGaming content for our North American market
- Optimizing content and ensuring our editorial and SEO standards are fully met
- Writing and editing original copy for new page launches and page audits
- Executing extensive competitor, market and SEO research to support the creation of page briefs
- Analyzing page metrics and using data to continuously improve our content offering
What You'll Bring:
- We're looking for someone who can write engaging long-form content that takes the user by the hand and offers the maximum amount of value.
- Familiar with on-page SEO optimization with some understanding of SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Surfer SEO).
- Good experience of using content management systems (bonus points if they’re familiar with Directus, Contentful or WordPress).
- Passionate about researching and a stickler for fact-checking/quality assurance.
- A competitive mindset and passion for SEO. Someone who gets a dopamine rush from seeing their article get to position 1 on Google.
- Collaborative - this isn’t a role where you work in silo, the candidate will need to be comfortable working with other teams, other Editors and potentially leading on projects from a Content perspective.
The Interview Process:
- 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
- 2nd: Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
- 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and present it back to the team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (Hiring Manager) (1 hour video via Zoom)
- 4th: Final interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
