The Role

Legend is seeking a Strategy Manager to join our team, reporting directly to our Global Head of Strategy. As the Strategy Manager at Legend, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and growth of a Gaming Super Pillar. You will own the opportunity pipeline, developing go-to-market strategies, and identifying new vertical entry points.

As Legend continues to evolve its strategic capabilities, this position will also provide critical support to the Global Head of Strategy. By enabling the delegation of some key accountabilities, you will help provide thought leadership and drive the strategic direction of the organization more broadly.

Your Impact:

  • Own one of our key Pillar’s opportunity pipeline, driving the identification and prioritization of high-impact initiatives that will shape the future of our pillar strategy.
  • Apply advanced strategy frameworks to prioritize opportunities across a global portfolio of products, guiding trade-offs and maximizing growth at the divisional level.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategies, making critical decisions around whether to build, buy, or form strategic partnerships to accelerate expansion in the sector.
  • Conduct business case analyses, providing leadership and actionable insights in situations with limited data, ensuring clarity and informed decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory and compliance developments, working with stakeholders to evaluate the business impact of new regulations, and identifying opportunities to capitalize on evolving compliance landscapes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 4-5 years experience working in a Strategy position with a background working as a Consultant.
  • You bring a strong ability to think critically and strategically, allowing you to identify and prioritize the most impactful opportunities within the Gaming sector to drive business growth.
  • You excel in continuously assessing and prioritizing opportunities, ensuring that the Gaming Pillar focuses on initiatives that deliver optimal outcomes.
  • You have the knowledge and experience to apply the right strategy frameworks, guiding decision-making and effectively managing a single-vertical portfolio of international products and opportunities.
  • You offer a proven track record in developing go-to-market and new vertical entry strategies, making informed decisions on whether to build, buy, or form strategic partnerships to accelerate expansion.
  • Your ability to perform business case analyses, even with limited information, demonstrates your leadership, flexibility, and commitment to making informed, strategic decisions.
  • You stay well-informed on regulatory and compliance developments within the gaming industry, working closely with stakeholders to assess potential business impacts and uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Experience working in the iGaming or Gaming industry is an advantage.

The Interview Process:

  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Interview with our Global Head of Strategy and Senior People Partner (45 minutes - 1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Take Stage, you will receive a take home task and will be asked to present back your findings to the Global Head of Strategy and Senior Strategy Manager (1 hour onsite interview)
