The Role
Legend is seeking a Finance & Payroll Assistant, reporting directly to our Accounts Payable Team Lead located in St Helier, Jersey.
In this role you will support the Accounts Payable and payroll needs of the Global Finance Operations team. The successful candidate will support the invoice processing, accounts payable, payroll and financial benefits for Legends head quarters and international subsidiaries.

Your Impact:
- Processing of payments, invoices, income & receipts and entering of data into accounting software or databases with filing of hard copies where necessary.
- Paying vendor invoices and reconciling bank account balances.
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and recognising & reporting any discrepancies.
- Recording any inconsistencies to assist in reconciliation of any inaccuracies.
- Preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Assisting the global finance team with administrative duties and assisting in the preparation of annual accounts.
- Reconciliation of month end accounts payables and supplier accounts.
- Supporting the Payroll Specialist preparing global payroll for the UK, Spain, Poland, Canada and Jersey.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in either Financial Services or in a Finance team is an advantage.
- Understanding of Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and staff expenses claims.
- Experience with international transactions and foreign exchange is an advantage.
- Pride in accuracy and attention to detail is extremely important.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications; primarily Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
- Team Player with the ability to meet deadlines.
The Interview Process:
- 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
- 2nd: Interview with the Accounts Payable Team Lead and the Senior Finance Operations Manager (1 hour in-person interview)
- 3rd: Final interview with the Finance Director, Mike Ward (30 minute video via Zoom)
