  • What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager (or a very senior engineer with significant leadership scope) in a product environment. Experience building “community platform” style products is a plus.
  • Strong hands-on capability with modern technologies — ideally React and Next.js and Node on the backend. Experience with TypeScript, PHP and CMS like Contentful is a plus).
  • Ability to still get in to the weeds & change code with confidence leading technical direction — this role requires you to balance your managerial focus and technical abilities to fully support the team.
  • Strong communicator with a track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of best engineering practices, including testing, pair programming, documentation, and code reviews

  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner to find out more about the role (45 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Technical-based Competency Based Interview with the hiring team team (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Managerial-focused Competency Based Interview with our People Partner and Product stakeholder (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 4th: Task-based Interview with our Engineering Leadership, including our CTO (1 hour 15 minutes video via Zoom)
  • Final: Final interview with our team (45 minutes in our Bratislava office)
