The Role

Legend is hiring a German Content Editor, reporting directly to our DACH Content Lead. This role will support our DACH content team to launch and optimise industry-leading iGaming websites in German, Austrian and Swiss markets.

This is a brilliant opportunity to supercharge your own growth by working with and learning from some of the strongest experts in both Content, SEO, and Product within the iGaming sphere.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a gatekeeper for our DE speaking markets and for content published on our websites.
  • Brief and liaise with freelance writers to ensure copy is produced and deadlines are met.
  • Proofread, line edit and write original copy to match the tone and clarity our audience expects.
  • Audit existing content and create new content based on our user and SEO best practices.
  • Use tools like ahrefs and SurferSEO to recommend ways we can optimise our content.
  • Work towards monthly deadlines and seasonal goals.
  • Contribute ideas to our content strategies and ensure they’re followed.
  • Use your skills and keen eye to suggest new, innovative ways of engaging our iGaming audience and expanding our reach in market.
  • Work as part of a high-performing team and set personal development goals to continually grow your own skill set.
  • Collaborate with other teams in the company, including Country Managers, Product, UX Design, and Engineering.

What You'll Bring:

  • We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
  • A strong command of German grammar and language, being a native level speaker, with working English language skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar role editing & optimising content for the web.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor/validate content success.
  • Solid writing and proofing skills, as well as an unrivalled eye for detail.
  • A “can do” attitude that thrives when working to deadlines in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Be self-motivated, imaginative and confident in working on your own initiative and with autonomy.
  • Team player mentality. We like to work with friendly people who thrive when working collaboratively.

The Interview Process:

  • Join Legend, where interviews are a two-way exploration of fit. Here's what you can expect from our hiring process:

  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and send it back to the team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2
  • 4th: Final interview with the team, Interviewer 3 and Interviewer 4 (1 hour video via Zoom)
