Legend is hiring a Managing Editor, reporting directly to our Head of Content, to lead our North American casino-focused commercial content team. We are redefining content experiences for users across our products.
By joining us as our Managing Editor, you will have the chance to define strategy together with your leads, on-page SEOs, and BA team. You’ll be empowered and encouraged to find innovative ways to ensure we create the best possible content.

Your Impact:
- Network content strategy and performance
- Ensuring all content meets our best-in-class content quality standards
- Creating effective content operations across the networks
- Content team performance management and leadership
- Managing the performance and development of the content team, ensuring they have the skills, goals, tools, and processes to do their jobs effectively. Providing coaching and growth support to the team to up-skill in core areas.
Defines, optimizes, and executes the content strategy across the network, ensuring that defined brands deliver towards this strategy and that network goals are met.
Ultimately accountable for the content quality of all products and the content production in a network. Empowered to challenge delivered initiatives that don’t meet the quality standards of a network.
Designing and improving content production workflows and processes, to enable Country Hubs to deliver the highest quality work quickly. Contributing to content budgeting decisions, strategic content decisions, and content workforce planning at the network level.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a content arm of a media/content business, preferably with gambling as a core function, ideally in North America.
- Strong written/editorial skills (SEO driven) - good understanding of user-focused copy, and persuasion tactics.
- Performance-focused, commercially savvy & data-driven. Has held previous roles where the team has been accountable for the performance/impact of their work and they've delivered great results. (Ideally, it will be traffic/conversions/revenue/etc.)
- Great prioritization skills, and views things with an ROI lens. Measures, learns, and iterates to achieve growth.
- Experience in collaboration with areas of other disciplines, particularly SEO, commercial, product, and design.
- Studies competitors as well & looks at best-in-class content in our industry.
- Experience uploading content - bonus points for understanding multiple CMS’s.
The Interview Process:
- 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
- 2nd: Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
- 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and present it back to the team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (Hiring Manager) (1 hour video via Zoom)
- 4th: Final interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
